Oluwaseun Oshilaja
Oluwaseun Oshilaja is a Consulting Psychologist; a doctoral candidate and masters degree holder in Psychology from the University of Lagos as well as a Bachelors degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University. A dynamic and astute individual with experience in education, insurance, banking, print media, lottery, administration/inventory, telecoms, personnel management, research and Psychology. He is a member of the American Psychological Science, Massachusetts, USA. Identity number carrying member of the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board, Littleton, USA. An ardent disciple of Applied Behaviour Analysis with Registered Behaviour Technician certification, from the Autism Partnership Foundation, California, USA. He is currently a Psychologist at the Little Beginnings Centre where he functions as a behaviour interventionist in speech and language development.
Oluremi Joel-Ogbueli
Oluremi Joel-Ogbueli is an Early Years practitioner, a special needs educator and a disability inclusion advocate. Oluremi attended University of Ilorin where she studied Business Administration,and has undergone different Early Years Foundation Stage(EYFS) trainings both locally and internationally. She started her career as a business development officer and marketer before moving on to becoming a Learning and Development advocate. Oluremi also spent about nine years in the Montessori and Early Years schools where she worked as an Early Years practitioner, before moving on to be a Special Educator and now works with children with learning delays. Oluremi is a Christian and an ardent lover of children. Based on her experience as an aunt of people living with a learning difference, Oluremi has become a voice for families who have children living with disabilities in Nigeria. She loves to help children and for people to understand what disability means and also to teach them to show empathy to people who have disabilities. An advocate of inclusive education and early intervention, she is currently the Head of Centre at the Little Beginnings Centre, Lagos. She lives with her husband and two lovely children.
Samuel Fakorede
Mr. Samuel Fakorede is an Occupational Therapist Register (OTR) with broad experience in field of Occupational Therapy practice such as Pediatrics, Neurology, orthopedic, psychiatric and plastics surgery with special interest in pediatrics especially children and young adults with developmental disabilities. He graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) from Manipal College of Allied Health Science, Manipal University Karnataka India and after a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from Federal School of occupational therapy in Nigeria. He is adept at Sensory Integration Therapy, therapeutic handling and modalities including stretching and strengthening exercises to prevent deterioration and restore movement in children with physical challenges. He is skilled at translating theory into practice, implementing evidence based practice and applying activity analysis principles. He has worked in both State and Federal hospitals for years. He worked in schools and centers for children with developmental disorders both home and abroad, and is currently a senior Occupational therapist and the head of Unit at Little Beginnings Centre. His duties include development of IEP goals, implementation of objectives and supervision of other professionals in his Unit. He is involved in training and development of professionals and parents in occupational therapy matters.
Peter Jinadu
Mr. Peter Jinadu is an Occupational Therapist with vast experience in different areas of Occupational Therapy practice including Pediatrics, Neurology, Orthopedic, Psychiatric and Community rehabilitation with special interest in Pediatrics especially children with developmental disabilities. He graduated with a masters Degree in Occupational Therapy with major in pediatrics from Mahatma Gandhi University India, Bachelors Degree from SRM University Chennai, India and Diploma in occupational therapy from Federal School of occupational therapy in Nigeria. An expert in Sensory Integration Therapy, therapeutic handling, translation of theory into practice, evidence based practice and activities analysis. He has worked in various schools and centers for children with developmental disorders both home and abroad and is currently working with LBC where his core duties include assessments and development of treatment programs, IEP planning and implementation, developing and implementing sensory diets, home and classroom modifications to soot the sensory needs of the individual.
Abiola Olaleye
Abiola Olaleye is a Special Educator with 7 years experience working with children and young adults with additional needs. She has a Bachelors degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Lagos and a Diploma in Occupational therapy from the Federal school of Occupational therapy in Nigeria. She is good in teaching mathematical operations and literacy skills that involves the basic areas of learning which are spelling and vocabulary, reading and reasoning, speaking and performance, writing and the appropriate use of punctuations. She uses the SAGE and EYFS curriculum alongside hands-on teaching aids to impact various concepts for each unique child. She currently works in LBC as a special educator alongside other professionals in bringing out the best in each child. She strongly believes that every child matters and can learn irrespective of their presentations.
